About Buckle & BlingBuckle & Bling is the creation of Connecticut native and artist, Susan Bass Fine. Located in the village of Niantic in East Lyme, Connecticut, Buckle & Bling takes wearable art to a new level. Founded in 2005, the line of belt buckles and pin-dants (heirloom pins worn as a necklace) has been described as exquisite and breathtaking. Each jeweled belt buckle and pin-dant is carefully designed and intricately crafted using pearls, Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, sterling, antique medallions, pins and brooches from around the world or an heirloom provided by the customer. In 1995, Susan launched a jewelry business specializing in unique one-of-a-kind pieces and was primarily involved in fundraising events for charitable organizations. After retiring from teaching in 2005, Susan began customizing and creating jeweled belt buckles and pin-dants. Buckle & Bling has been seen at various juried art shows throughout New England.
